Solara actively works to organize the finest complement of physicians for your surgical facility. This includes meeting with potential surgeons to analyze local healthcare markets, physician case-loads, and project feasibility.
Financial & Legal Arrangements
All financial and legal details are coordinated through Solara. Such details include: financial packet preparation, procurement of bank financing, and legal preparation of necessary syndication documents for incorporating the group as a Limited Liability Company or Limited Liability Partnership depending on the legal requirements and tax situation of each state.
Solara provides operational support services to all of our facilities. Services include: quality assurance & benchmarking programs, operational analysis, feasibility studies, revenue management, billing and collection analysis and problem resolution, purchasing and inventory control, and increasing physician utilization.
Managed Care Coordination
All aspects of managed care contracting are coordinated through the company’s managed care team. We oversee the tasks of establishing financially beneficial contracts and monitoring trends in the marketplace relevant to managed healthcare.
Architectural Design & Construction
Solara works alongside the Architect and Independent Contractor in the design of the facility. Experienced clinical personnel oversee the architectural design to ensure optimal functionality for the partnerships’ anticipated production needs. All designs are approved by the physician-owners.
Facility Licensure & Certification
Facility licensure and certification is obtained from all necessary state and federal agencies. The process is coordinated by experienced personnel to ensure quick turnaround time from the various agencies.
Procurement of Equipment & Supplies
Upon approval by the physician partners, all medical equipment, instruments and supplies are purchased through our network of vendors.
Establish & Implement Documentation
Policy and procedure manuals, quality assurance program, personnel handbooks, credentialing packets, equipment logs, and forms are prepared for the facility.
Recruitment, Selection & Training
Solara recruits, hires, and trains clinical and business office personnel. Training consists of providing the staff with the necessary direction for efficient and effective surgical facility operation.
Financial Management & Accounting
Solara is concerned with maximizing the return on your investment. Our financial management team is continually auditing and monitoring the accounts receivable, case volume, and expenses of the facility. Solara provides the investors with comprehensive financial reports, including, but not limited to: financial statements, annual budgeting, account analysis package, and statistical reports detailing the center’s operational activities.
Solara manages and supports the process of facility licensure and accrediation. Our clinical team has years of experience performing site reviews and mock surveys for both surgery centers and surgical hospitals. Other important duties our clinical team manages: revising and updating of policies and procedures, clinical benchmarking, education and training for clinical staff.
Human Resource Management
Solara manages all personnel issues. Our goal is to create a positive work environment for the employees while minimizing the liability to the facility.
Solara formulates and executes a strategic marketing plan specific to your surgery center or surgical hospital. This is an ongoing process that involves evaluation and revision of the plan to meet the needs of the facility in each community.
