KENNETH R. ROSS, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Mr. Ross has over 30 years of management experience in healthcare, energy and finance industries. His background includes 20 years operations management, finance, strategy and business development in multiple healthcare industries. Prior to starting Solara Surgical Partners, Ken founded and developed Solara Healthcare where he was responsible for the growth and operating results for seven LTAC hospitals. Ken is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, earned MHA and MBA degrees, is a CPA, and is a member of the OU Health Sciences Center Adjunct Faculty and serves on the OU MBA Advisory Board.
CHAD SANDVIG, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Mr. Sandvig is a principal in Solara Surgical Partners and serves as Chief Operating Officer for the company. Chad is responsible for the management oversight of the clinical and business functions of all Solara facilities. His experience over the years has been focused on the operational and financial performance of outpatient facilities. In 2004, he co-founded Cornerstone Healthcare Partners and served as the Chief Operating Officer for their ambulatory surgery centers. Cornerstone initially began with ambulatory surgery center development and management and grew into several other modalities including urgent care, diagnostic imaging and revenue management. Prior to Cornerstone, he was the Vice President of Operations for Surgis. Chad received his Masters in Business Administration from Oklahoma City University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University.
ROBERT PETRICK, CHIEF DEVELOPMENT & ACQUISITIONS OFFICER
Mr. Petrick, a principal in Solara Surgical Partners, serves as the Chief Development and Acquisitions Officer. Robert is responsible for the sales efforts of the company which include surgery center acquisitions and denovo projects. He also oversees all clinical and operational developments for new surgery center and surgical hospital projects. In March 2004, Robert co-founded Cornerstone Healthcare Partners. He served as Cornerstone's Chief Development Officer and was responsible for the marketing and sales efforts of the company, as well as providing oversight on all phases of construction, operational, and clinical development in the opening of each facility. Starting with ambulatory surgery center development and management, the company has grown into several other modalities including urgent care (First Med Urgent Care), diagnostic imaging facilities (Cornerstone Imaging Partners) and revenue management (Curologics). Robert worked for Surgis, Inc. from July 2002 to February 2004 as Vice President of Operational Development. He supervised all surgery centers being constructed or transitioned from a Surgis acquisition. Prior to Surgis, he worked for Surgery Centers of America for seven years before the acquisition of SCOA. His positions at SCOA included Director of Marketing, Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Development. Robert graduated from Oklahoma City University with a Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Management.
BRIAN CAMPBELL, EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
Mr. Campbell has over 18 years of major corporate and management experience. Brian served as CEO of Chickasaw Enterprises and oversaw tremendous growth during his tenure. Chickasaw Enterprises grew from 1,700 employees to 10,000 employees from 2003 to 2009. Brian was responsible for the management and development of 75 business operations. Prior to accepting a leadership position at Solara, Brian served as Chairman of the Board for Solara Healthcare from 2003 until 2009. Brian has a MBA and Bachelor's degree in Biology and Business Administration and Education.
KYLE PEWITT, CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Mr. Pewitt has over 20 years of executive leadership experience in operations and organizational transformation, as well as financial management. In his many years working for a $17 billion consumer products company, Mr. Pewitt advanced to VP of Finance and Administration in the strategic business development arm of the company, responsible for the overall relationship and profitability for key strategic alliances. In addition to healthcare, his experience encompasses logistics, financial management and non-profit. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. He also received an MBA in International Business Management from Oklahoma Baptist University.
ELISSE SEALS, VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
Mrs. Seals, Vice President of Operations, has over 28 years of experience in multi-facets of the healthcare industry. Her leadership experience specializes in Complete Facility Operations over a broad range of medical environments to include Hospital, Respiratory/DME, Clinical Laboratory, and Urgent Care, focusing the last 10 years on Ambulatory Surgery Centers. Elisse is recognized for her expertise in managing facility day to day operations, enforcing and promoting Revenue Cycle Management and Cash Flow Enhancement.
Mac Swindell, Regional Vice President of Operations
Mr. Swindell comes to Solara with 25 years of operational and business development experience, 16 of which involved the healthcare industry. After many years directing operations and developing territories for healthcare IT and capital equipment suppliers, he cofounded a multistate physician practice. As COO/CTO of this new firm, Mac was responsible for all day-to-day operations across 7 states, back-office operations including revenue cycle management, IT, and new business development. Most recently he led the development and product launch of new data acquisition and analytics products and service lines that targeted oil and gas operators and royalty owners. Mac is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Certified Medical Practice Executive. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Oklahoma State University and an MBA in International Business Management from Oklahoma Baptist University.
JOHN OLIVER, Executive Vice President
Mr. Oliver has over 25 years of progressive responsibility managing multiple acute care hospitals. John began his career as a Registered Nurse, with a BSN, working Trauma and teaching Paramedics for four years. While working on his MBA, John performed a Hospital Administrator Internship as transition into hospital management. John opened a new LTAC hospital in Denver, where he took the facility to profitability in its first year. John has over ten years as a Regional VP of a national company overseeing over 10 LTAC hospitals. He has opened 10 new LTAC hospitals and managed over 25 hospitals. John joined Solara in 2003 and provides strong hospital operations and development experience to the organization and an unyielding commitment to quality patient care which stems from his solid clinical roots.
